Fresh Studio Vietnam, a leading consulting and research company based in Vietnam, is offering an exciting internship opportunity in the field of aquaculture. We are seeking two enthusiastic interns to join our team at Fresh Studio Vietnam. As an intern at Fresh Studio, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in the vibrant aquaculture industry of Southeast Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fish Husbandry & Production: Perform daily fish husbandry tasks including feeding fish, monitoring water quality and other routine tasks.
Farm Visits and Fieldwork: Visiting aquaculture farms and processing facilities to learn about different farming systems, techniques, and challenges.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data on production, market trends, and consumer preferences through surveys, interviews, and market research.
Project Support: Assisting with project coordination, reporting, and other day-to-day tasks.
Report Writing: Contributing to the development of reports and presentations summarizing research findings, analysis, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong Interest in Aquaculture: The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for aquaculture and a desire to contribute to improving the sustainability and efficiency of this industry.
Academic Background: Students or recent graduates in fields such as aquaculture, fisheries, biology, environmental science, or related disciplines are preferred
Analytical Skills: Basic knowledge of data collection, analysis, and statistical tools will be beneficial.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English is necessary, as you will be collaborating with a diverse team and interacting with clients.
Adaptability: Aquaculture work can be physically demanding, involving travel to different locations and working in various conditions. Flexibility and adaptability are essential traits.
