2.5.12. Infectious Myonecrosis Virus (IMNV)
- Shrimp tail is opaque, and later, has opaque body.
- Shrimp has lethargic activities and then dies. Mortality rates can be up to 40-60% in infected pond.
- Symptoms like signs of IMNV in shrimp can also be seen when there are unfavorable environmental factors, such as the lack of oxygen, high density or sudden changes in temperature and salinity.
