Broccoli contains many vitamins and minerals such as fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, or iron. It is a source of protein and is one of the best cancer prevention foods. Broccoli is rich in glucosinolates, which help prevent cancer. These substances activate enzymes that can neutralize carcinogens in food, destroy abnormal cells, protect DNA from the attack of oxidative enzymes - carcinogenic agents.

Broccoli can be used as a stir-fry, baked, steamed and grilled food, or can be eaten fresh and added to a salad. However, when Broccoli is cooked in high temparaturer, these useful substances are destroyed.
